Produced in January 1934. Last 200 is a Main Collection D fitting last, with a bulbous round toe and narrow waist. After over 80 years of use already under its belt, last 200 epitomises the heritage Crockett & Jones lasts. Due to the early inception of this last, it features a typically narrow waist, making it perfect for the unlined Chukka, a boot famed throughout Europe as an iconic Crockett & Jones style.

Chukka / Derby Boot
It is believed that a Chukka boot has both a sporting and a military heritage. A Chukka boot (or Desert boot) is constructed using three pieces of outer material – Inside Quarter, Outside Quarter and Vamp with low cut leg (but above the ankle) and two to three eyelets. In contrast, a Derby boot is a fully lined, high leg and all together, more substantial boot with variations similar to a Derby shoe. Chukka boots are usually considered unlined, although lined versions are available and they are often regarded as the most comfortable of all styles.

Single Leather Sole
High quality leather sole with open stitching, stained and waxed to provide protection from the elements. Wheeled, crowed and top ironed for aesthetic pleasure.
