Oxford Boot
An adaptation of the most easily recognisable of all classic styles, the English Oxford. The most formal, elegant of all boots was always a main-stay of the Crockett & Jones Men’s Collections of old. We are able to trace Oxford boots back to the early days of Crockett & Jones, surprisingly of sporting pedigree and intent. The sequence of operations for constructing an Oxford differs to a Derby. The Inside and outside Quarters are stitched underneath the Vamp and the tongue is stitched in separately underneath the Quarters/Vamp/Facing. Often referred to as ‘Closed Lacing’.

Hand Grade Leather Sole
High quality ‘bark tanned’, hand-stained leather sole with channelled stitching and a gentleman’s corner to reduce suit trouser snagging! A masterpiece of craftsmanship.
