We would like to introduce you to our extended family. This array of worldwide retailers are friends of the brand and faithful champions of our products and services.

Trading Post, Tokyo

A select shop which realises the ‘Evolving Classic’.

Trading Post stores are operated by Prestige Shoes Co., Ltd. Prestige Shoes Co Ltd is a distributor who mainly work with the finest department stores at the highest level. Trading Post, a retail division, first opened its doors in 1984 with a concept:

“To curate a select shop that introduces high quality footwear, mainly from Europe, to Japanese shores. Shoes that where not yet recognised in Japan in the mid-1980’s”.

They proposed a multi-brand store which, over time has built a committed following of customers interested in the culture for wearing high quality leather shoes in Japan. Actively introducing products that evolve and age beautifully with time, Trading Post made an early decision to only work with the finest quality products from around the world.

Constantly aiming to create stores environments that enrich and help educate their customer’s lifestyle the passion and ethos that runs through their staff results in customer finding a pair of quality leather shoes at varying price points.

Staff advice is on hand to discuss last shape and fitting in line with both the customers’ requirements and also the unique fitting that is presented by a customers’ foot. Staff take time to pay close attention not only when choosing a ‘toe shape’ and suitable last, but also a shoe to suit their lifestyle. Finally Trading Post are well known for offering an excellent post sale service and advice, helping customers take care of their shoes through shoe care advice and repair options.

“THE SHOE CELLAR” is a concept of their latest flagship store “Trading Post Aoyama”, which has just launched in July 2020.

Trading Post Aoyama recently relocated, but not too far away! Opening around the corner on the main street, giving a more accessible position to our customer and offering better visibility for our store. This renewal enabled Trading Post to convey and share the abundance of passion they have for high quality footwear, their ethos and the culture that they have helped to create in Japan for Crockett & Jones shoes.

“For the store design, we took inspiration from ‘a wine cellar’… a cellar for high quality footwear. Creating an environment that is both relaxing and comfortable with a welcoming atmosphere offered by our highly trained retail staff. To celebrate the opening, we offered special ‘made to order’ styles, unique to Trading Post. We are excited to see what the future brings”
