With the correct care and attention your shoes will age well, taking on a greater depth of colour and character that only time can produce. We recommend following our shoe care guidelines regularly. Leather uppers require regular treatment with a good-quality wax polish to protect the leather and give a high shine finish. This should help to prolong the life of the uppers and maintain their appearance. Find out moreProduced in May 2014. Last 617 is a Women’s Collection last featuring an elongated toe with soft-almond shape. This last gives its styles an elegant look, especially if they are unlined like Cora and Angel, but the addition of a sturdy rubber sole can transform the aesthetic into something gutsier like Anna or Holly. 617 is now established as the most widely used last in the new Women’s Collection since 2012.
The most easily recognisable of all classic styles, is the elegant English Oxford. A formal style that dates back over two hundred years, it is thought to have been named by the students at Oxford University, although it is almost certain that the style predates this ‘naming’ further still. The sequence of operations for constructing an Oxford differs to a Derby. The Inside and outside Quarters are stitched underneath the Vamp and the tongue is stitched in separately underneath the Quarters/Vamp/Facing. Often referred to as ‘Closed Lacing’.
VIBRAM’s VI-Lite compound offers the ultimate lightweight rubber sole with exceptional levels of durability.
