This season, we are dividing the new styles for AW17 into two articles: Shoes (Part I) & Boots (Part 2)...
For the Main Collection boots, we have a new pattern DEENE taking centre stage. A low-cut Chelsea boot in black calf or dark brown pebble grain. CONISTON (or Sir Coniston) has been given new clothes, now sitting alongside the world famous tan scotch grain is a version in dark brown scotch grain and dark brown rough-out suede. Take your pick.
The City rubber sole collection has been extended, a full offering of colourways for CHELSEA 8, also finding room for a ‘G’ fitting in dark brown suede, as well as DEENE as below.
A new last. Last No.377 is gladly welcomed into the UK Collection. With the excellent fitting qualities of our more recent lasts (363/373/375/376), development of the 377 is no different. Another extremely comfortable and distinctly unique last that has a shortened stick length, slimmer back-part and new toe shape. All resulting in an asymmetric, round toed and characterful last, with notions of classic English shoemaking... a round toe 337 if you like! DERWENT II is set to become a well-established boot, combining the new last, the English made Ridgeway sole and the extremely comfortable dark brown wax calf.
